A scarf is one of the most versatile pieces of clothing, and a useful inclusion in your travel gear. It can be decorative and functional, providing practical clothing solutions for a range of situations. There is also another kind of scarf that brings a whole lot of different benefits.
Travel is educative. Even though you aren’t engaged in a formal learning program, you are picking up so many things informally. I was reminded of that travelling here and settling into some temporary accommodation. We have already had some challenges to provoke our learning.
Exploring Japanese cuisine is just one of the delights that await us. Today’s experimentation was minor, but ascertaining the contents of packages is going to be fun. This one had savoury rice cracker snacks in it. There are all manner of snacks available – both salty and sweet. Fortunately the packaging showed the contents so we were confident in our purchase.

Recently I had some web-hosting issues that resulted in access problems – for you and me. One day I was merrily blogging away, the next I couldn’t get in and couldn’t work out what the problem was or why it occurred. Many hours of “online chat” and contact with the Support centre and I’m back. What surprised me was how much I missed it!
Truth is, I’ll never know all there is to know about you just as you will never know all there is to know about me. Humans are by nature too complicated to be understood fully. So, we can choose either to approach our fellow human beings with suspicion or to approach them with an open mind, a dash of optimism and a great deal of candour.
